Forward Madison FC has signed forward, Maouloune Goumballe, for the 2026 USL League One season, pending league and federation approval.
Goumballe joins the Flamingos after spending the 2024 and 2025 seasons with Sporting Kansas City II in MLS NEXT Pro. Across two professional seasons, he made 55 appearances, including 53 starts, recording 14 goals and five assists.
The roster move comes two weeks after striker Hakim Karamoko went down with an injury that head coach Matt Glaeser said could keep him out for some time.
Before starting his professional career, Goumballe spent five seasons with the Indiana Hoosiers from 2019-23, contributing 11 goals and 12 assists in 103 appearances while helping Indiana capture three Big Ten regular-season championships, three Big Ten Tournament titles and make two NCAA College Cup appearances. He was also recognized as an Academic All-Big Ten selection three times. During his time at Indiana University, Goumballe was teammates with current Forward Madison FC players JT Harms and Herbert Endeley.
The Mingos, currently in third place in USL League One, take on fourth-place One Knoxville at home Wednesday night.
