Forward Madison right back Alvin Jones has been called up to the Trinidad & Tobago men’s national team for CONCACAF Nations League play in June, according to an announcement from the club.

Jones already has 31 caps for the Soca Warriors and has scored one goal — the goal that knocked the United States out of qualification for the 2018 World Cup.

Jones has appeared in four games with the Flamingos, and starting in two. So far through the 2022 season, Jones currently holds a passing accuracy of 75.5%, while having recorded four clearances, three interceptions, and four tackles.

Derek Gebhard has been the primary starter at the right wingback position this season, with Eric Leonard and Mitch Osmond trading time at the right fullback spot.

Trinidad & Tobago face Nicaurgua at 9 pm on Friday, Bahamas at 7 pm Monday, and face St. Vincent and the Grenadines in back-to-back matches at 2 pm June 10 and 6 pm June 13. All Nations League matches are streamed live on Paramount+.
