The Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness

The Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness (FFBWW), a non-profit organization focused on centering and motivating African American women to pursue and sustain physical, mental, and spiritual wellness, and to advocate for Black women’s health as a community and public health priority, is hosting its first annual block party on Sunday, Aug. 13, noon-4 p.m. at Brittingham Park, 829 W. Washington Ave.

The FBWW annual block party will have free food and entertainment for all ages. The FFBWW’s mission for this event is to build community relationships, expand social and mutual aid networks, and share resources.

Pre-registration is not required but is encouraged through their website. Register for the party here.
