Fourth of July celebrations will be returning to Forward Madison FC’s home field this summer with Festival Foods Lights The Isthmus, a one-of-a-kind Independence Day celebration that will be held at Breese Stevens Field on Saturday, July 2nd.

Festival Foods Lights The Isthmus will be a ticketed, family-friendly event featuring local bands, food, beverages, and a fireworks display launched from the Brearly St. endzone, behind the stage, at Breese Stevens Field on Madison’s near east side.

“We are excited to continue a partnership with Festivals Foods to bring family-friendly entertainment and another amazing fireworks display to Downtown Madison,” says Big Top Events General Manager, Tristan Straub. “We would like to express great gratitude and thanks to Festival Foods for making this possible, again, and to the neighborhood for working with us to host an event that is unique to Madison.”

Gates for the event will open at 5 p.m. Music will start at 6 p.m. featuring a diverse compilation of musical acts, representing a variety of genres including Forward Marching Band (Community-Based Music Collective); Kat and the Hurricane (Synth-Pop Rock); Marcus Porter (Hip-Hop/R&B); Pine Travelers (Americana/Folk/Rock); and Uncommon Denominator (1960’s-Current Cover Band)
