Kicking off the return to school for many students starts shortly after New Year’s celebrations are over and settled, and Goodman Community Center is happy to be bringing even more opportunity for students to prepare come 2024. Workshops to work on things such as scholarship support, essay writing, resume writing, and ACT prep are set to be held over multiple weeks in January and February.

Scholarship support sessions will be held on January 10 & 17 to give support to students in learning about local and national scholarships while making plans to complete scholarship applications ahead of deadlines. Scholarship support will also be an available service on January 24 along with the scheduled essay writing workshop to aid in areas such as college applications, editing and proofreading, as well as offer 1-on-1 support in writing.

In light of another new batch of graduates to come of the spring semester, a resume writing workshop will be offered on Feb 28 to help in preparing a strong resume for career and academic goals. In continuation of giving support in achieving academic goals, ACT Workshops will also be offered on January 31 as well as February 7, 14, & 21.
