Griselda Aldrete, the former CEO of Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee and executive director of the Milwaukee Police and Fire Commission, has joined Madison-based Alliant Energy as director of stakeholder engagement, according to Milwaukee Business Journal.
Alliant Energy’s executive vice president Jim Gallegos told the Milwaukee Business Journal that Aldrete started at Alliant about a month ago.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Aldrete’s duties will include “manag(ing) stakeholder engagement and projects in areas including Regulatory, Public & Community Affairs and Legal in both the Wisconsin and Iowa territories as it relates to community solar, renewable energy, climate change and community engagement.” Gallegos also said Aldrete will work to enhance the company’s connections with communities of color.
