Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will be campaigning in Madison this afternoon at Gordon Commons on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.
According to a release from her campaign, Clinton will discuss her plans to break down barriers that hold Americans back and encourage Wisconsinites to take advantage of the last week of early voting. The event at Gordon Commons on West Dayton Street starts at 3:45 p.m. and doors open at 2:45 p.m.
Clinton will stay in Wisconsin into Tuesday, making stops in Milwaukee, La Crosse and Green Bay. She’ll visit the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee later in the evening today, then speak at a community forum on gun violence prevention at Tabernacle Community Baptist Church in Milwaukee Tuesday morning. Later, she’ll head up to La Crosse to visit Western Technical College.
Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea, made a stop in Madison last Thursday. The Wisconsin Primary is Tuesday, April 5.
