Volunteers placed flags at the gravesites of Ho-Chunk Nation Veterans at Blue Wing Cemetery starting on May 5.  An additional two days were dedicated to visiting Decorah Cemetery, Indian Mission Church Cemetery, Decorah Prairie Cemetery, and Trempealeau Cemetery.

The Ho-Chunk Nation Veterans Service Office provided cloth face masks and hand sanitizer to volunteers.  Individuals also practiced social distancing.

Stories and memories were shared. Jim Greendeer communicated a history session while at Blue Wing Cemetery. Doug Greengrass supervised volunteers while at Decorah Cemetery.
