Joe Biden will become the 46th president of the United States, both the AP and CNN project, after a victory in his home state where Biden kicked off his campaign and where he spent the last days of the race.

Adding Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes, Biden now has a total of 273 electoral votes. Biden collected more than 74 million votes nationwide, more than any presidential candidate in history.
