When Forward Madison FC faces off against the Greenville Triumph at Breese Stevens Field on Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. they will have a very special fan from a popular TV show in their corner rooting them on. Leslie David Baker, who played the character “Stanley” on “The Office,” will be in Madison to be the Flamingos’ special guest.
On the hit show, Baker’s character was known for his monotone voice and calm demeanor. The show depicts the everyday lives of office employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. The series ran for nine seasons and starred actors like Steve Carrell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Mindy Kaling, Jenna Fisher, B.J. Novak, and Ed Helms.
There is a special “Stanley Pack” ticket promotion for that night: $32 gets you a match ticket, a soft pretzel, a crossword puzzle, and a Forward/Office tee.
