The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) has announced the launch of the LULAC@Home website to provide critical information and resources during the COVID-19 pandemic. LULAC specifically created this tool for Latino communities across the country to remain connected and obtain relevant information with the click of a button.

“We know that our community has a lot of questions during this unprecedented and difficult moment. That is why we created this website, to house the critical information that our Latino community can use in this time of crisis. LULAC is working diligently on helping address these needs,” said LULAC President Domingo Garcia in a statement. As a first step, we’ve created this central place where people can go to learn more about the resources available to them during the coronavirus pandemic.”

The webpage offers the Latino community up-to-the-minute and streamlined information that users can access from a computer, laptop, or mobile device, in English and Spanish. LULAC@Home is organized into the following sections:

  • I Need Help – for those seeking information on financial assistance, unemployment benefits, and food banks
  • I Want to Help – for those interested in making donations or volunteering
  • Health and Well-Being – information on physical and mental health resources
  • Elder Care – information on how to care for older adults
  • Children, Teens and Families – information explaining COVID-19 to children with disabilities, parent and caregiver guides, anti-bias education, and distance learning
  • Virtual Events and Learning – information on LULAC conference calls and virtual meetings for updates
