Have a special someone you need the perfect gift for? Or are you looking to cross off the remaining gifts on your holiday shopping lists? On Saturday, Dec. 16, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Doxa Event Center (2700 Novation Pkwy), look out for the Madison Black Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural Holiday Black Bazaar. This is a new opportunity to support over 40 Black local businesses and a space to cultivate the next generation of Black entrepreneurs.

“We are excited to kick off our youth entrepreneurship program,” says Camile Carter, Madison Black Chamber of Commerce (MBCC) president, “and we will be working with them on an on-going basis, engaging them in vendor opportunities as well as speed mentoring and coaching at the event”.

This “one-stop-shop extravaganza” has a space for all ages. Activities at this event will include speed coaching and networking and a host of various black businesses that range in products developed, created, and sold. “We really wanted to provide a platform for them to catch some of those holiday sales and really connect with their clients over the season,” Carter tells Madison365.

The Holiday Black Bazaar will also give people a chance to shop with the teens of CEOs of Tomorrow and to get photos taken with Black Santa.

Admission to the event is free with no required registration. Further inquiries about youth programs or business membership registration, or general inquiries can be made at the Madison Black Chamber of Commerce website.
