Tune in to 1310 AM WIBA from 6 until 8 pm Monday, June 27 as Henry Sanders and Derrell Connor take on the issues of the day.
We’ll start with Wesley Sparkman, the director of the Tamara Grigsby Office of Equity and Inclusion at Dane County. Then we’ll get to know one of the newest members of the Madison press corps, Channel 3 morning reporter Eden Chekol.
For the second hour we’ll turn to the events of the last week involving Madison police and the violent arrest of Genele Laird. We’ll hear from former longtime Madison police chief David Couper, who called the force used in the arrest “inappropriate,” and Boys and Girls Club of Dane County CEO Michael Johnson, who has been in dialog with both Madison Police and Genele’s family.
