Milwaukee Film celebrates Black History Month; Madison365 to stream panel talks

Milwaukee Film is celebrating Black History Month with 40 films and dozens of events to inspire conversation, celebration and community.

This week, Milwaukee Film celebrates Black Love and Joy with three live-streamed events. Each one will be streamed on the Madison365 Facebook page as well as the Black Lens Facebook page and the Milwaukee Film YouTube channel.

Pleasure Politics: Desire, Agency and Black Women’s Engagements with Pleasure
Monday, Feb. 8,  7 p.m. (CST)

Pioneering author, award-winning journalist, Joan Morgan, Ph.D. leads a conversation about Black visual culture, expressly depictions of Black women in media and popular culture.
