MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Bucks are in the NBA playoffs, and the river Friday underwent a colorful change in the spirit of rooting for the home team.
The Milwaukee River was dyed green Friday to celebrate the start of the NBA playoffs.
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and Milwaukee Bucks and Fiserv Forum President Peter Feigin were among the folks gathered at the McKinley Bridge Friday morning to watch as boat dropped vegetable-based dye, creating a colorful, memorable sight.
The Bucks worked closely with the city and the Department of Natural Resources on the dyeing effort, according to a news release.
