MADISON, Wis. — Police are investigating a double homicide that happened at the UW Arboretum on Monday night, according to UW Police Department Public Information Officer Marc Lovicott.
According to a news release, a jogger came across two individuals lying in a ditch around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police said one was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was transported to a local hospital and died a short time later.
Police are asking the public to avoid the Arboretum, especially the Wingra Street entrance.
