Untold Stories About “Good” Schools & Neighborhoods – Virtual Seminar will take place Saturday, Sept. 26, 10 a.m.-noon.
The underlying messages of the “good” schools or the “bad” neighborhoods is a conversation that is long overdue in many circles. It means we need historical context, real-life stories, and honest conversations about some unsettling truths.
Participants will learn about redlining, modern-day redlining, school inequities, and how it all connects to the racial disparities we see today.
Join Sara Alvarado and Ananda Mirilli for some virtual Saturday morning inspiration, intellectual stimulation, and heart expansion.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale from $20-$50.
