Leadership takes a physical toll that rarely gets named alongside the strategic and emotional weight everyone talks about. That’s what we’ll be talking aout at this session at the 365 Leadership Summit on Monday, October 19 at the Center for Black Excellence and Culture. We’ll look at what actually sustains a body through years of high-pressure work: what gets worn down, what gets ignored until it can’t be anymore, and what it takes to build health into the work itself rather than squeezing it in around the edges. It’ll be a conversation about the physical foundation underneath everything else this summit covers, and what it would mean to actually last, not just push through.
It’ll be led by Myra Reneé Kincade, founder & CEO of Anesis Therapy. Panelists will include:
- Lauren Cornelius, Academic Program Specialist, Native American Center for Health Professions, UW–Madison
- Shannon Holsey, President, Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians
- Dr. Christina Outlay, Associate Professor of Information Technology, UW–Whitewater
- Dr. Nestor Rodriguez, Emergency Medicine Physician & Medical Director, Carbon World Health
- Hedi Rudd, Co-Executive Director at Rooted & Badger Rock Neighborhood Center Director
