Wisconsinites are well aware of the gut-busting delicacies available each year at the Wisconsin State Fair. But, this weekend, the world will get a preview of some of the most interesting and tasty creations served up during Wisconsin’s 11-day celebration which runs Aug. 4-14, 2016.

Tune in to “Food Paradise” on the Travel Channel this Sunday, July 24 at 7 p.m. and you’ll watch as the hosts feast on a scrumptious array of fair foods, including some favorites from the 2016 Wisconsin State Fair.

Featured local vendors will include Water Street Brewery and Brew City Pizza, whose offerings include crowd favorites like the Wis-Cone-Sin, the 2015 first place Sporkies winner featuring a Miller Bakery soft pretzel cone filled with German rotkohl, hand-breaded schnitzel and a potato pancake topped with crispy cinnamon apple straws and Oktoberfest beer reduction.

But, which items will be featured on “Food Paradise”? Maybe the Loaded Twister Dog, the Chicken N Waffle Cone and or Bacon Bottom Porker Pizza? You’ll have to watch to find out.

“This is a huge accomplishment for our team,” notes Tina Lawler of Water Street Brewery. “We work on these items for months to perfect them, and to be recognized for that on such an awesome show is amazing.”

On “Food Paradise” the Travel Channel features must-see eateries across the nation, particularly those which offer up a one-of-a-kind experience. The Wisconsin State Fair episode will also feature treats from the State Fair of Texas — a place where we can only guess the offerings are huge. After all, everything is bigger in Texas, right?
