The Mystery of Black History will be held Saturday, March 18, 5-7 p.m. at the Urban League of Greater Madison, 2222 S. Park St.
The untold history and world contributions of the Moors have long been unknown until now. There will be a brief historical video presentation (Hidden Colors, part 1) followed by the representatives of the local Moorish Scientific Temples of America, from Temples #10 & #11( Madison & Milwaukee). The topics discussed will include the Historical and Cultural aspects of the Moorish faith, as well the oftentimes misconceptions or misperceptions of what being a “Moor” truly means.
