The Mystery of Black History Series will continue with The History of Jazz on April 16, 5-7 p.m. in the Evjue Community Room at the Urban League of Greater Madison, 2222 S. Park St.
Local Jazz Legend Hanah Jon Taylor leads us on a journey through the history of Jazz. The history of jazz can be traced back to the Unites States in the early part of the 20th century. From Ragtime and Blues to Big Band and Bebop, jazz has been a part of a proud African American tradition for over 100 years.
