2016 Run for Literacy

0
Literacy Network offers programs specifically tailored to the needs, goals, and different learning styles of the individual adult learners.

The 2016 Run for Literacy will be held Sunday, Oct. 23, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at A Room of One’s Own Bookstore
315 W Gorham St, Madison, Wisconsin 53703

Join us in 2016 as we celebrate the Literacy Network’s 25th Annual Run for Literacy. Participation in this annual event raises money to provide educational resources to low-literate adults in Dane County who are seeking to improve their reading, writing, and English skills.

Join us as we walk, run and jog through downtown Madison and the UW-Madison campus with over 600 of our closest friends to help adults in Dane County gain literacy skills. Adults who join the Literacy Network’s programs are achieving their goals of financial stability, improved employment, stronger relationships with the healthcare system, and the ability to support their children’s education.
