We’re getting to know some of the youth athletes we cover. Here are five questions for Madison Morris, a 5’8″ shooting guard from Milwaukee. She’s an incoming freshman at Dominican who plays AAU basketball for Team Herro.
1. Favorite pregame meal?
“Grilled chicken pasta.”
2. Go to song when getting ready?
“Dead Fresh by Lil Baby.”
3. What do you do for fun outside of sports?
“Hang out with family and friends and support my cousins in their athletic endeavors.”
4. What does your training look like outside of practice?
“I work with a few trainers to enhance ball handling skills, shooting skills, and weightlifting.”
5. Who is your favorite athlete and why?
“Arike Ogunbowale. She is a Wisconsin native. I appreciate her skill set that’s used in the game and I’ve modeled my game after hers.”
