Bee Yang is once again hitting the road for Cycling for a Cause, a cross-country cycling journey raising funds for the Wisconsin Hmong Lao Veterans Monument in Neillsville, Wisconsin.
Yang is cycling from Maine to Wisconsin with a goal of raising $40,000 for the monument. Yang raised the first $11,000 through a 2025 ride from California to Wisconsin. The second leg was delayed when his mother was hospitalized in September 2025, and Yang returned to focus on his family.
Now, in 2026, Bee Yang is ready to complete the journey he started.
“This ride is about honoring our veterans and making sure their courage and sacrifices are remembered by future generations,” Yang said in a statement.
The monument will honor General Vang Pao and the Hmong and Lao veterans who served alongside the United States during the Vietnam War. These veterans played a critical role in protecting American interests and rescuing American pilots. The monument will preserve their legacy for future generations and commemorate 50 years of Hmong contributions and presence in the United States.
