Kimila Daniels will be the new interim Chief Talent Officer for One City Schools, the Madison public charter school announced on Wednesday.

“As we continue to grow and strengthen our educational mission, Kimila brings valuable experience that aligns perfectly with our vision for excellence. She is an accomplished organizational leader with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and fostering inclusive workplace cultures that drive institutional success,” Kaleem Caire, founder and CEO of One City Schools, said in an announcement highlighting the hiring of Daniels.

Prior to founding her consulting firm, Infinite Ubora Consulting, where she specializes in creating transformational talent strategies, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness, Daniels served as Chief Administrative Officer at Quartz Health Solutions, where she provided strategic leadership for an 800-employee organization.

“Kimila’s background in managing organizational growth and development will be particularly valuable as we continue to expand our impact in the Madison community,” Caire said. “She has been recognized as one of Wisconsin’s Most Influential Black Leaders and brings extensive experience in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors.”

Daniels, who succeeds Nikole Fees, will start her new role on Monday, Feb. 17.
