A McDonald’s in California has turned its Golden Arches upside down to make a “W” commemorating International Women’s Day on Thursday.

The restaurant, located in Lynwood, CA, is showing a sneak peak of what the chain plans to roll out on Thursday when the company will display arches upside down across its social media accounts, on employee uniforms and on special packaging at 100 stores nationwide.

“For the first time in our brand history, we flipped our iconic arches for International Women’s Day in honor of the extraordinary accomplishments of women everywhere and especially in our restaurants,” McDonald’s Chief Diversity Officer Wendy Lewis said in an emailed statement to Delish.

“From restaurant crew and management to our C-suite of senior leadership, women play invaluable roles at all levels, and together with our independent franchise owners, we’re committed to their success.”
