The Mystery of Black History program will take place Saturday, Oct. 15, 5-7 p.m., at the Urban League of Greater Madison, 2222 S. Park St.
This is the continuing series of African American history which reflects a variety of genres. The first of many series will be the history of African Americans via the Original Artistic Covers of the nationally recognized magazine, UMOJA!
The esteemed publisher and editor of UMOJA, Ms. Milele Chikasa Anana, will facilitate the program during the presentation. As a professional journalist and accredited historian, Ms. Milele will share what the covers and the artists bring to bear in each of the original cover designs. You will be amazed at what you will learn about African American History.
