CNN reports that Senator John McCain, who has already beat skin cancer, had an “aggressive brain tumor” removed, but is in good spirits and has been discharged from the hospital.
It was reported earlier that the Senate’s planned vote on health care reform was delayed while McCain had a blood clot removed from behind his eye. The tumor was discovered during that procedure.
Showing no signs of cognitive delays, McCain was discharged Saturday and has been recovering at his home since then.
