5th Annual Día de los Muertos Fundraiser at East High School will take place Saturday, Nov. 9, 4-8 p.m. at Madison East High School, 2222 E Washington Ave.

East High School’s Raza United (formerly known as Latinx Student Union) will be hosting this fun, musical and nostalgic event for the 5th year at East High’s state of the art Theater.

El Ballet Folklórico de María Díaz will start us off with the ancient Aztec opening ceremony. Our very own Rene Avila will also be performing some amazing dances that will blow your mind! The dancers will mesmerize us with their colorful and beautiful dresses and new dances from México throughout the night.

El Charro Carlos Soriano, will delight us with his tender voice singing some traditional Mariachi songs.

Lupita Zaragoza, a student at Deforest High School, and her angelic voice will also join us.
And for the first time on our stage we have the honor of presenting Mariachi Corazón de México. One of our very own high school students is part of this Mariachi group and this is an amazing time to support this new group.
