If your commute to work takes you on East Johnson Street, you may want to find a new route.

East Johnson Street was closed Wednesday night from 1st to Baldwin streets near Tenney Park and will remain closed for one to two weeks due to flooding.

Officials ask drivers to take First Street to East Washington Avenue and then to North Baldwin Street.

East Johnson Street will be closed until water recedes, which could be anywhere from one to two weeks. The road has been closed since 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Officials said to expect severe traffic delays during morning and rush hours. More information on road closures is available on the city’s website.
