Yesterday at 2 pm, UW’s COVID-19 dashboard continued to steadily report increasing numbers for UW students and staff with 112 new positives. Of those 112 reported, 108 were students and four were employees. All of these positives were from on-campus testing only. As reported yesterday, UW is adding positives from off campus testing to the appropriate date of the result, but those results are only being reflected in the data provided for both on and off campus testing on the page and in the final totals. UW had a total of 4,288 cumulative cases as reported yesterday morning by Madison365. This morning, the new total, which includes the 112 reported at 2pm yesterday, is now 4,449 cases – meaning there were an additional 49 positives from off-campus testing that was added into their overall data for UW.
