He will assist in providing direction, achieving school academic goals, and guiding the  opening of Central Heights this fall as Sun Prairie’s new middle school serving sixth, seveenth and eighth grade students.

“We are excited about the passion, skills, and talents that Kyree will bring to Central Heights Middle School,” the district said in a Facebook post.

“I am proud to assist in the opening of a new school as God continues to strengthen, humble, and prepare me for my next chapter of my career at 28,” Brooks wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday. “Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this process. The future is in preparing ALL students for the future, serving the unique needs of our BIPOC students, developing staff and producing positive outcomes for the school community to the best of our abilities.”
