In honor of Election Day, local businesses are giving out free items and discounts to voters and the community.
Transportation Discounts
Union Cab will be offering free rides to the polls. The local company serves Madison, Sun Prairie, Middleton, Monona, Shorewood, Town of Madison, Town of Blooming Grove, Town of Burke, Maple Bluff and Fitchburg.
Madison BCycle
Madison BCycle is giving out free daily passes on Election Day. The codes will be posted on all kiosks around town.
Fitchburg Family Pharmacy
The pharmacy is suspending delivery services for the day to pick up people and drive them to the polls. Driving services will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Uber
By using promotional code VOTE2018, Uber will be giving $10 off a single ride to the polls.

Chocolate Shoppe is giving $1 off single scoop sugar cones, wafer cones or dishes to those with stickers. If you don’t have a sticker, anyone who mentions “vote” can get $1 off as well.
