Turnout Looking Like a Presidential Election: County Clerk

    0

Dane County Clerk Scott McDonell posted on Facebook today that 50 percent of eligible voters had voted by 2 pm, and that the trend seemed to be matching the 2016 presidential election, when turnout reached 82.4 percent.

That’s well ahead of the 72.9 percent turnout of the last midterm election in 2014.

Many social media posts reported long but quick-moving lines. Polls are open until 8 pm; as long as you are in line by 8 pm you should be allowed to vote. Watch Madison365 and our social media channels for results from around the country tonight.
