Madison365’s 11U girls basketball team will compete in tournaments in Wisconsin Dells each of the next two weekends, looking to build on a third-place finish at the Amateur Athletic Union Summer Finale tournament in Stoughton two weeks ago and a 10-game undefeated run in the Middleton 3-on-3 summer league.

This Sunday, the team, coached by 365 Media CEO Henry Sanders, will compete in the Already August Shootout at JustAGame Fieldhouse in the Dells. They’ll return to the same venue for the Summer Sizzler Open on August 12.

“We’ve kind of been thrown into the deep end with our season playing some of the best teams,” Sanders said. He said the team is coming together through weekly practices.

“The team is progressing every practice, having more team chemistry, building more trust in each other,” he said. “And now we’ll see if it actually translate to the games on Sunday.”

The team’s tournament gets underway at 8 am Sunday as they face WLSE and continues at 9:40 am, with a game against No Limits. Playoff games take place later in the day. The Summer Sizzler Open schedule has not yet been released.
