NAACP President Cornell W. Brooks tweeted a photo Tuesday afternoon of himself and several other members of the NAACP and Alabama NAACP chapter seated in their Sunday best on the floor of the Mobile, Alabama office of Senator Jeff Sessions, Donald Trump’s nominee for US Attorney General.

Other occupiers also tweeted photos and several media outlets reported that more than a dozen protesters were occupying the office.
Sessions has a long history of racially-charged remarks and votes. He has called the NAACP and other groups “un-American.” He was nominated to the federal bench by President Ronald Reagan, but the Senate denied his confirmation over alleged racist remarks.
Supporters on social media sent pizza and offers to help with bail money.
On behalf of my hungry colleagues who are sitting in, I want to thank a @NAACP friend in Boston for sending pizza to Mobile. @DemAwakening pic.twitter.com/ZoJiSjVysp
