UW’s BGPSA Presents: “A Different World” HBCU College Fair (Volunteers Needed)

The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Black Graduate and Professional Students Association (BGPSA) will host “A Different World: Historically Black College and University (HBCU) College Fair” on Thursday, October 27, 2016, from 4pm-7pm at Madison East High School.

“A Different World: Historically Black College and University (HBCU) College Fair” will provide high school students the opportunity to learn about HBCUs from throughout the country. Representatives will be available to share their experiences at their schools, provide free applications, and distribute ACT/SAT information and fee waivers for eligible students. The “A Different World: HBCU College Fair” will also host workshops throughout the day to provide students with valuable college preparation insight and tools. Participants will enjoy food and entertainment, featuring music by D.J. M. White.

Advanced registration is required. “A Different World: HBCU College Fair,” is looking for volunteers.
