When the YWCA Madison presents its Annual Women of Distinction Leadership Awards at a virtual event on Friday, May 21, the organization will honor six outstanding honorees — including Jannet Arenas-Pineda, Roxie Hentz, Jacquelyn Hunt, Adrian Jones, Jenny Pressman, and Nasra Wehelie — for exemplifying the many ways women lead in the Madison community.
Women of Distinction Leadership Awards were established to increase community awareness and appreciation of the diverse contributions of women in the workforce and in the community. Full bios of the six honorees can be found here.
YWCA Madison has recognized 238 women since the first Woman of Distinction was bestowed the honor in 1974 for their community services, professional achievement, integrity, leadership, and dedication to the lives of others and to the quality of life for all.
