Freedom Inc. will host a Candlelit Vigil & March for Black Lives Tuesday, Aug. 25, 6-9 p.m., at the Wisconsin State Capitol.
In the month of August alone, our community has dealt with the murder of Madison’s 11-year-old Anisa Scott and the attempted murder of Kenosha’s Jacob Blake. Join us on Capitol Square at 6 p.m. as we honor victims and survivors of all forms of violence and demand justice in the form of serious investment in our communities.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to wear masks and to keep social distance.
