Educational Viewing of The S Word (Followed by Q&A With Professor Diane C. Gooding, UW-Madison) will take place Saturday, Feb. 29, noon-2 p.m. at the Urban League of Greater Madison, 2222 S. Park St.
Join us for an educational viewing of THE S WORD, a film directed by Lisa Klein. The film features a suicide attempt survivor on a mission to find fellow survivors and document their stories of courage, insight and humor. Along the way, she discovers a rising national movement transforming personal struggles into action.
Our program goal is to aid suicide prevention and to break the stigma surrounding Mental Illness.
