Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has agreed to a four-year, $100 million extension, league sources said today. The Bucks are expected to announce the deal tomorrow at a news conference.

The 21-year-old Antetokounmpo, known as “The Greek Freak,” is one of the most versatile and gifted young players in the league and eligible for his rookie class of 2013 extension. The 6-foot-11 Antetokounmpo was selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft and averaged 16.9 points, 7.7 rebounds. 4.3 assists and 1.4 blocks in 80 games last season. He recorded five triple-doubles after the All-Star break, more than all but three players had the entire season.

The son of immigrants from Nigeria, Antetokounmpo officially gained Greek citizenship on May 9, 2013, with the official legal spelling of his name being Giannis Antetokounmpo. His new deal makes him the first nine-figure player in Bucks franchise history.
