The Latino Chamber of Commerce of Dane County has announced that it has opened a new center to help Latino startups with the Emerging Business Development Center. The Center is located in the Chase Bank building at 802 W. Broadway, Suite 102, Monona, WI. An open house will be held on Thursday, January 26th from 5pm to 7pm.
Executive Director Jessica Cavazos said, “The center is a dual language think tank and mentorship center that will help foster a new generation of Latino entrepreneurs by providing them office space, access to capital, resources, mentor support and technical tools that will enable them to build and grow their startup businesses.”
The Chamber aims to provide a hands-on approach for four to ten in-house entrepreneurs to dive into the areas of idea, product development, user experience, customer service and capacity building. Entrepreneurs will be benefit from the knowledge of business experts from 100state, SCORE, the Small Business Administration, and the Doyenne Group, as well as others.
